Some 360 hours were needed for documentary compliance to import in South Sudan in 2019. This was the longest time required among countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, where the regional average was 96.1 hours. In Equatorial Guinea and Tanzania, 240 hours were needed to comply with documentation regarding imports. By contrast, only one hour was needed in Lesotho, while three hours were required in Namibia as well as in Botswana.
