Japan: new bullet train carriage order value 2021

In the fiscal year 2021, the value of new Shinkansen high-speed train carriages ordered in Japan amounted to around 3.19 billion Japanese yen, plummeting from roughly 73.94 billion yen in the preceding fiscal year.
The Japanese bullet train has been renowned worldwide for its reliability regarding speed, punctuality, and safety since its inauguration in 1964. Accordingly, Japanese manufacturers were able to export their technology to Taiwan, for example.
