With the holiday shopping season approaching in the midst of the global pandemic, consumer shopping behavior noticed some major renovations. While it was clear that the consumers were more inclined to online sources for shopping offers, the online advertisements bagged the first place, accounting for 47 percent. The online shopping platforms also seized the major share with a very thin margin, valued at 46 percent. The Germans' least source of information to know shopping offers was word of mouth, with 22 percent.
