Preference of viewers for original content in Europe 2021, by country

Among select Western European countries, original streaming service content was found to be either very important or important to the majority of viewers. Viewers in the United Kingdom and Italy were found to be particularly partial to original streaming service content, where over 40 percent of consumers in each country indicated that original content was very important to them. German viewers, on the other hand, had the lowest preference among viewers in surveyed countries for original content, with just 27 percent of respondents reporting that it was important to them.
