Telehealth services offered in Brazil 2021, by region and channel
In 2021, mobile apps were the most commonly used channel to provide telehealth services among Brazilian health care establishments. More than half of the health care facilities offering these type of services in the Southern region used mobile apps to interact with their patients that year. In the Brazilian North and Southeastern regions, however, telemedicine services were more common through websites and mobile apps. That year, nearly one-quarter of the health care establishments in the Brazilian Central-West offered teleconsultation services.
