In 2023, about 18.61 percent of assessed adults aged 20 and above in the Philippines were identified as obese or overweight. The highest share of obese or overweight adults was reported among adults in the National Capital Region (NCR) at 38.82 percent. In contrast, the lowest share of overweight adults was among the assessed individuals in BARMM and Region VIII.
