The ease with which citizens can use these websites and other digital services is a key concern for policymakers and public administrators, with issues such as technical problems, difficult to use websites or apps, and issues with payment or signing documents all being issues mentioned by EU citizens. The greatest share of EU citizens have, however, responded that they have experienced no issues when using government websites over the past year, showing that substantial progress is being made in the area of e-government websites in the EU.
