Young people's participation in paid employment Australia 2020, by indigenous status
During a survey conducted among young people aged 15 to 19 living in Australia in 2020, approximately 1.3 percent of respondents who identified as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander reported that they were employed full time and a further 35.3 reported being employed part time. Almost one quarter of non-Indigenous respondents reported not being in paid employment and not looking for work.
