The rest of the list drops considerably in market capitalizations, with the following companies never being evaluated beyond six billion U.S. dollars.
Of the many robot manufacturers in the world, most are already established, professional, larger enterprises. In general, these already established companies outnumber robotic startups by a factor of 10, though it differs from country to country. Switzerland and the United States had the largest shares of startups relative to their incumbent robotics companies, while Japan had the lowest share.
It is unsurprising that the world’s largest economy has some of the largest robotics markets in 2023. In consumer service robots, that is those robots aimed at helping the average citizen with minor tasks, it is expected that the revenue in the U.S. will grow by nearly 200 million in the next two years. This type of robot constitutes your basic robotic vacuum cleaners, robot lawnmowers, assisted living robots, and other simple consumer robots.
