Distribution of new HIV infections among adolescents MENA 2022, by country

In 2022, Egypt had the largest share of new HIV infections among young people in 12 countries in the Middle East and North Africa, at 27.5 percent. This was closely followed by Sudan at 25.8 percent. Jordan had almost no infections amongst the 15 to 24 year old group.
