Wages in the U.S.: public opinion on raising the minimum wage 2013
This statistic presents the results of a phone survey by Reason-Rupe among American adults in December 2013. Survey respondents were asked if they favored or opposed raising the minimum wage from 7.25 to 10.10 U.S. dollars per hour. Some 72 percent of respondents said they favored raising the minimum wage to 10.10 U.S. dollar per hour.
