Area covered by forest in Lithuania 2007-2020

In 2020, the share of forest land over the total amount of land in Lithuania remained nearly unchanged at around 35.15 percent. Still, the share reached its highest value in the observed period in 2020.

Forest area is defined as land with natural or planted trees of five meters or more in height, excluding agricultural land and urban parks and gardens.
