Number of trucks in use in Italy 2018, by macro-region
In 2018, the North West of Italy had a truck population of about 1.3 million units. This macro-region comprises four Italian regions: Lombardy, Piedmont, Aosta Valley, and Liguria. In the same year, approximately one million trucks were in operation in the South, nearly as many as in the North East of the country.
