States with the most biopharmaceutical clinical trials in the U.S. in 2013
This statistic shows the states in the U.S. with the highest number of biopharmaceutical industry-sponsored clinical trials in 2013. In that year, California had 3,111 active clinical trials for new medicines sponsored by the biopharmaceutical industry, the most of any U.S. state.
