Italy: readers distribution 2017, by reading material

This statistic illustrates the share of readers in Italy in 2017, by type of reading material. According to the survey results, only 9 percent of Italians read exclusively books: the majority of respondents (56 percent) read books as well as magazines, newspapers, and online articles. By contrast, about one in five respondents (18 percent) read online content and magazine articles but no books.
