Number of incidents at dams in the U.S. 2010-2020

There has only been one recorded incident at U.S. dams in 2020. The particular incident took place at Hess Creek Dam on April 27th and had a high hazard level. It was found to be driven by deterioration or poor condition. Around 18 percent of U.S. dams were found to have a high hazard risk that year.
