Argentina: vehicle manufacturing 2011-2022
Vehicle production in Argentina has experienced an overall downward trend throughout the past decade, and this effect was further aggravated by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. In April that year, vehicle production in the country came to a complete halt. In turn, Argentina's annual production amounted to around 257,000 vehicle units in 2020, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. In 2021, however, Argentina's production almost doubled and reached some 435,000 vehicles and in 2022, the country's production output stood at nearly 537,000 vehicles.
