This statistic presents the preferences in using cryptocurrencies for payments in Germany, as of July and August 2017. In that time, approximately 11.4 percent of those asked expected that they would use digital currencies, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, to conduct payments in the future. The majority of the sample however was decidedly against using cryptocurrencies as legitimate payment instruments on the German market, as of 2017.
