This statistic displays the tourist expenditure on outbound trips from Norway from 1st quarter of 2015 to 4th quarter of 2019, by type of trip. Most money was spent on outbound travels during the third quarter each year. In the fourth quarter of 2019, Norwegians spent a total of 12.73 billion Norwegian kroner on long holiday trips and 3.7 billion Norwegian kroner on short holidays. The expenditure on business trips in that quarter amounted to 3.44 billion kroner.
