Monthly occupancy of hotels in the Nordic capitals 2020

As a consequence of the current corona crisis, the occupancy of hotels in the Nordic capitals decreased significantly in the second quarter of 2020. April 2020 was the worst month for all capitals. Hotels in Reykjavik and Helsinki suffered particularly, with occupancy rates at 1.3 percent and 2.6 percent each. As of June and August, the occupancy rates increased, but was still low compared to before the crisis.
