Immunization coverage in India

The first chapter of this report presents with key facts relative to the global and domestic vaccine market. The second chapter sheds light on statistics in relation to full immunization coverage. A child is considered fully immunized when they receive vaccines against Tuberculosis, three doses of Diphtheria, Pertussis and Tetanus (DTP), three doses of the Poliomyelitis, and one dose of the Measles vaccine before they are one year old. Aside from that, the report also highlights details of vaccination coverage among children and the share of different vaccines by antigen administered to the population until 2018. Further, the fifth chapter underscores immunization coverage across different regions specific to states and union territories.
