In 2020, international same-day travelers from Mexico spent nearly 47 U.S. dollars per person on average, maintaining the constant increase in outbound excursionist expenditure registered in the country since 2016. In that year, people from Mexico who exited the country but returned the same day spent 40.8 U.S. dollars per capita during their short trip.
