Foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in Belgium 2008-2021, by region

Foreign investment projects totaled 245 in 2021, of which 141 were in Flanders, 58 were in Brussels and a further 46 were in Wallonia. These projects in Flanders peaked in 2018 with 169 projects, whilst in Wallonia and Brussels these projects peaked a year later at 64 and 76 respectively.
