
Value of trade balance Egypt 2013-2021
In 2021, the trade balance in Egypt had a deficit of 629.4 billion Egyptian pounds due to a higher import value than export value. In that year, petroleum was the leading export product while private cars was the leading import product. Overall, the trade deficit was largest in 2018 at around 941 billion Egyptian pounds (30.45 billion U.S. dollars) during the reviewed period.
