New Zealand: same-sex couple marriages and civil union count by region 2019

In 2019, there were around 180 same-sex couple marriages and civil unions registered in the Auckland region in New Zealand, which marked the highest count of all regions. The first civil unions in the country were celebrated in 2005, and the first same-sex marriages were celebrated in 2013.
