Mental health hospital admissions among adolescents in England 2013-2018

In 2017/18, 261.2 per 100,000 15 to 17 year olds were admitted to hospital in England as a result of mental health conditions. While among the age group 10 to 14 years there were 97.4 admissions per 100,000 in 2017/18. The number of hospital admissions in the 15 to 17 years age group has increased since the start of the provided time interval, while admissions has fallen for 10 to 14 year olds.
