Alstom's order backlog by segment 2018-2022

In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022, the French rail company Alstom reported over 81 billion euros in order backlog, around 50 percent of which is for its rolling stock business segment. Order backlog refers to the situation when a company has workload or orders that exceed the current capacity to finish in a timely fashion.
