Supplementary notes

Gender Parity Index (GPI) measures the relative access to education of both males and females.
The source indicates that the GPI for gross enrollment ratio in tertiary education is the ratio of women to men enrolled at tertiary level in public and private schools. It adds that a GPI of less than one suggests girls are more disadvantaged than boys in learning opportunities and a GPI of greater than one suggests the other way around.
