Share of medical device imports Japan 2022, by region
In 2022, Japan imported the largest share of medical devices from the United States, which accounted for over 35 percent of the total imported products. Ireland ranked second with a share of around 10 percent of imports. That year, the total value of medical equipment imports to Japan amounted to approximately 2.9 trillion Japanese yen.
