Japan: average R&D expenses and capital investment of medical device companies 2023

In the fiscal year 2023, it was estimated that medical device manufacturers in Japan spent an average of about 339 million Japanese yen on research and development (R&D) and 335 million yen on capital investment. The average expenses for R&D peaked in fiscal 2020 at over two billion yen.
