Leading cashless payment services considered to receive MyNa Points in Japan 2020
According to a survey conducted in Japan in July 2020, around 24.5 percent of the respondents stated that they would register with the mobile payment service PayPay to receive cashless rewards from the MyNa Point campaign. The MyNa Point was a campaign introduced by the government that ran from September 2020 to March 2021 and rewarded consumers with cashless payments after applying for the My Number card, an individual identification card.
