According to a survey conducted in Australia in 2020, about 89 percent of general practitioners felt favorable toward using telehealth in their practice due to the coronavirus pandemic because the Medicare Benefits Scheme supports them to use telehealth. Meanwhile, around 80 percent of the surveyed GPs said the changing attitude was because their patients liked the convenience of telehealth service.
