FDI inward stock as a share of GDP in China 2005-2021
In 2021, inward foreign direct investment (FDI) stock in China ranged at approximately 21.5 percent of the Chinese gross domestic product (GDP). This is a relatively low level compared to developed countries such as the United States or United Kingdom. However, some Asian countries such as Japan or South Korea have an even lower inward FDI stock to GDP ratio.
