Annual consumption volume of hazardous chemicals in the EU-27 2010-2021
The European Union (EU-27) consumed approximately 224.8 million metric tons of chemicals hazardous to health and 86.4 million metric tons of chemicals hazardous to the environment in 2021. In that same year, the total consumption volume of chemicals in the EU stood at roughly 299.4 million metric tons.
