TikTok: fake engagement prevented 2021-2022

During the third quarter of 2022, the social video platform TikTok prevented almost six billion fake likes on its content due to inauthentic engagement and fake accounts activity. This represents a decrease from the previous quarter, when the number of fake likes prevented was approximately 15 billion. Additionally, the platform prevented around eight billion fake follower requests during the last measured quarter, doubling the amount of prevented fake followers requests from the first quarter of 2022.
