In early 2023, a study measured the effectiveness of TikTok advertising campaigns in driving awareness and viewership of shows, movies, and live events on broadcast, cable, and steaming channels. It was found, among others, than 97 percent of TikTok campaigns that advertised such content, contributed to incremental tune-ins. The median cost per tune-in stood at 1.06 U.S. dollars.
