In 2023, only 4 technology start-ups in Israel went through a successful initial public offering (IPO). This was the lowest volume of IPOs among Israeli companies between 2015 and 2023. This continued a significant downward trend, which began following a 2021 boom in public offerings. The fall in number of IPOs was consistent with other types of liquidity events during this period, including M&As and buyouts.
