As of the first half of 2024, 27 merger and acquisition (M&A) type exits were completed in Israel, where the acquirer was from the United States. This indicated an easing of the downward trend, from 2022, in the number of American-led M&A events in the local high-tech sector. Between 2021 and 2023, the total number of these types of M&A deals decreased by about 50 percent. Still, American buyers remained the most significant actors in the Israeli exit market.
