Leading countries with the greatest income distribution equality in 2022, based on the Gini coefficient

For some countries, which were among the 20 countries with the greatest income distribution equality in prior years, no data was available in the recent report. The income Gini coefficient measures the deviation of the distribution of income (or consumption) among individuals of households within a country from a perfectly equal distribution. A value of 0 represents absolute equality, a value of 100 absolute inequality.
