Leading retail banks globally in 2024, by brand value
China ruled the global banking industry in terms of banking brand value as of February 2024. The four leading banks worldwide were all from China. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) ranked first, with a brand value of 71.83 billion U.S. dollars, followed by China Construction Bank, and the Agricultural Bank of China. Bank of America, the U.S. bank with the highest brand value, ranked fifth. Other than China and the U.S., no other country had a bank in the 10 most valuable banking brands.
