Pharma industry workforce in Mexico 2016-2021
In 2021, approximately 52.4 thousand people worked in the pharmaceutical industry in Mexico, down from around 54.3 thousand employees reported a year earlier. The pharma industry workforce grew almost five percent between 2016 and 2021. Moreover, the value of pharmaceutical consumption in the North American country is expected to reach 17.9 billion U.S. dollars by 2022.
