Number of nurses per 1,000 inhabitants in South Korea 2000-2017

There were approximately 6.91 nurses per 1,000 South Koreans in 2017. This is slightly increased from the preceding year. The nurse-to-people ratio has increased continuously since 2000, with sharper increases in the past several years. For example, from 2015 to 2016, there was the sharpest increase from 5.94 to 6.8 nurses per 1,000 people.
