Chile: military spending as share of government expenditure 2010-2020
The military spending as percentage of total governmental expenditure in Chile has been declining since 2011. In 2020, the military spending of Chile accounted for approximately 6.3 percent of all governmental expenses, down from 9.9 percent in 2011. Nevertheless, Chile features the third highest share of military spending as percentage of government expenditure in Latin America.
