Netherlands: share of people satisfied with news media reporting, by topic 2017

This statistic displays the share of people who say their news media are doing very/somewhat well at reporting news in the Netherlands in 2017, by topic. Roughly 90 percent of the respondents participating in this survey said that the Dutch news media were doing somewhat well or very well covering the most important news events. They were however more critical about the fair reporting of political issues. Less than three-quarters of the participants answered that the Dutch media were reporting (somewhat/very) well in this regard.
