Canadians' interest in reading award-nominated books 2018
This statistic shows the share of book readers in Canada interested in books which were nominated for a literary award as of January 2018. The data shows that 19 percent of surveyed Canadian book readers said that they would be more interested in reading a book if it had been nominated for a literary award, however 28 percent said that a book being nominated would have no impact on their interest in reading it.
