Tonnage of recycled ships in Turkey 2011-2023

In 2023, 564 gross tonnage was recycled in Turkey, 44 percent less than the previous year. In the period of consideration, the dismantled tonnage fluctuated considerably and peaked at 1776 gross tonnage in 2020. As of 2023, Turkey recycled 66 vessels in the Aliağa Port.
