This statistics presents the number of books* exported from Spain to Ibero-America** in 2019, broken down by book category and in thousand copies exported. During that year, books about religion were the most exported by the Spanish book sector, with approximately 3.1 million copies exported. Books for children and young adults and literature books occupied the second and third positions, respectively. In total, Spain exported around 12 million books to Ibero-American countries.
