Denso Corporation is one of Japan's leading automotive component manufacturers, developing technologies enabling electrification, automation, and connectivity of vehicles. The company manufacturers combustion and hybrid engine vehicle components, climate control systems, and air-bag systems, among others. Moreover, Denso is active in the field of industrial automation as well, producing a line of industrial robots.
Denso generated total revenues of over 7.2 trillion Japanese yen in its 2025 financial year (or about 47.9 billion U.S. dollars). In the same year, the company held assets worth roughly 8.1 trillion Japanese yen (approximately equal to some 54.3 billion U.S. dollars).

Denso among the leading suppliers worldwide
In 2024, Denso was ranked as the second-largest automotive supplier in the world based on revenue. Germany-based companies Robert Bosch GmbH, ZF Friedrichshafen AG, and Continental AG are among Denso’s main competitors. Japanese vehicle manufacturer Toyota is one of Denso's most important customers. Toyota Motor Corporation and its subsidiaries accounted for about half of Denso’s sales in 2023. Toyota also held over 24 percent of Denso's shares in 2023.Domestic market remains a key region
Denso is a global corporation with a presence in over 30 countries; however, Denso's domestic market is its largest source of revenue. In 2025, the company generated more than 4.2 trillion Japanese yen from sales in Japan alone, which translates into some 59 percent of total sales. Denso’s next two largest markets are the United States and China.
