Gross value added to the UK in 2019, by enterprise area
In 2019 the Greater London authority area added over 459 billion British pounds to the economy of the United Kingdom, making it by far the largest city region or combined authority in terms of gross value added. The combined authorities of Greater Manchester,the West Midlands, and West Yorkshire added 73.5 billion pounds, 68.6 billion pounds and 56.7 billion pounds respectively.
