This chart displays the annual number of third-country nationals (non-European Union citizens) who were ordered to leave Poland from 2008 to 2018. The number of persons found to be illegally staying in the country has constantly increased in recent years, ranging from 7,750 persons in 2011 to 29,374 persons in 2018. Between 2017 and 2018, this number increased by over 4.5 thousand third-country nationals.

The source added the following information:
* Third country nationals found to be illegally present who are subject to an administrative or judicial decision or act stating that their stay is illegal and imposing an obligation to leave the territory of the Member State.
These statistics do not include persons who are transferred from one Member State to another under the mechanism established by the Dublin Regulation (Council Regulation (EC) No 343/2003 and (EC) No 1560/2003).
Each person is counted only once within the reference period, irrespective of the number of notices issued to the same person.
